This site is a free, fast version of classic Minesweeper that works in any browser, on any device, with nothing to install.

I built it because I wanted a Minesweeper that felt like the original but looked at home on a modern screen. That meant the real board sizes, a first click that is always safe, chording, keyboard shortcuts for fast players, and boards that grow to fill the screen instead of sitting in a small box.
It also meant a fair mode. No guess only deals boards that can be cleared by logic, so a good game never ends on a coin flip.

How the site is paid for
